Webinar: Systems Thinking, Theory U and the Complexity of HIV Prevention

On October 14, 2020 MultiPOD held a webinar on “Systems Thinking, Theory U, and the Complexities of HIV Prevention”, in which one of our bright 2020 mentees (Maxime Mistretta from the Institut Pasteur in Paris) and three mentors (Rafael Mazín, José Romero-Keith and Fernando Zacarías, all of them from Mexico!) discussed the tools and methods to frame and solve complex problems in global health and human development with the support of former mentees and now Technical Officers at MultiPOD Shirley Bejarano, 2017 (Colombia/USA) and Charli Sitong Zhang, 2018 (China/Netherlands).

We plan to have a follow up webinar early next year, expanding the concepts of Theory U, an approach to problem-solving developed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States
